No. We will contact you via text 3 days in advance of your appointment day with an estimated time of arrival. If you won't be home just respond to the reminder text and tell Amanda how you want her to enter your home. Many clients leave keys or garage codes or they use a smart home security system etc. It's like grooming magic. You can count on Amanda to enter and leave your home and your dog safe and secure. The security of your home and your dog is of the highest importance.
3 days before your mobile grooming appointment Amanda will text you a copy of your invoice. Some limitations apply to this such as dogs that are new clients and dogs that don't maintain a grooming schedule of every 8 weeks. Clients can pay cash, check, or credit card. New clients who pay with a check will be asked to leave a credit card on file in the event the check does not clear. Clients who choose to pay in cash will receive a 5% discount (can't be combined with other discounts)
Yes. It's important to Amanda to get to know both human and canine clients. During the first mobile groom Amanda asks canine parents to be home. After the first groom it's not necessary for most clients to be home during the grooming appointment.
In addition to the text that clients receive 3 days in advance reminding them of their mobile grooming appointment that text includes an estimated time arrival as well, Amanda will also send a text when she is 15-30 minutes away so you know to expect the mobile groom van shortly.
Mobile grooming is one on one customized grooming at your door step. Don't stress out your canine by taking them to a busy groom shop full of barking dogs and cages and the possibilities of transmittable illnesses. We do try to accommodate unavoidable emergencies. However the mobile grooming schedule stays very full. We plan our entire life around our grooming schedule. We ask that clients avoid cancelling appointments unless an emergency arises. It may be hard for Amanda to offer you a new appointment immediately and your price may reflect the added time it takes to groom your dog if you have to go longer than 9 weeks between your appointment due to a cancellation.
To avoid any cancellation fee please provide 3 days advance notice of cancellation. We will do our best to reschedule clients quickly, however the mobile grooming schedule stays very full and it may be hard to reschedule clients right away during busy times. Clients cancelling within 72-25 hours of their appointment day will be assessed a $50 charge. Cancellations within 24 hours of groom day will be charged the full the amount of the service.
Amanda works hard to maintenance her health and the grooming equipment to avoid any unplanned down time. However unplanned illness and equipment breakdowns will happen. If Amanda is down just one or two days then she will work on the weekends to catch up. If the downtime is more than 3 days then she will contact every client on the groom schedule and move all appointments back one week to catch up. Amanda will work hard to control what can be controlled concerning these possible issues.
