Yearly Inflation Price Adjustment

May 15 all Deluxe Groom prices will increase by $5.  I strive to adjust prices based on the inflation my business experiences only one time per year.  My last inflation adjustment was 12.5 months ago.  In order for me to maintain a profitable business I have to adjust my prices to offset increased costs.  I strive to offer fair prices and amazing service to my wonderful clients.

What Happens if I (Amanda) am sick or if my Groom Van experiences an unexpected maintenance issue?

I work hard to maintain my health and I also work hard to maintain all my grooming equipment to avoid any unplanned downtime.  However unplanned illness and equipment breakdowns will happen.  If I am down just one or two days then I will work weekends to catch up.  If the downtime is more than 2 days then I will contact every single scheduled client via text and I will ask for you to move your appointment date back one week.  I will be certain to clearly communicate the new date via text.  I always work hard to control what can be controlled concerning these possible issues.  Downtime can be very tricky because I always maintain a fully booked schedule.  I am typically booked solid which means rescheduling all clients is my only option if and when I experience downtime that is more than 2 days.  


Vaccine Records

Every time you visit your vet to update your canine's vaccines please text me a screenshot or a picture of the updated vaccine record to 515-631-2948.  Reminder the required vaccines for mobile grooming are : Distemper, Parvo, and Rabies


Happy 15 year anniversary to Barks And Wags

This year I celebrated 15 years of self employment.  It's been an incredible journey.  I have learned so much.  This journey has been the hardest and most rewarding experience.  Thank you to all of you for the trust and support you have given me over the years.  I love being your family's groomer of choice.  I hope to keep going for decades to come.  I love this career path more than I could have ever hoped for.
